8 Great Summer Reading Books

by on July 1, 2010

Forbes has published another of their famous lists. This one is called, Top 50 Books for Summer. It’s described as, “50 great reads, highly recommended by members of the ForbesWoman community.” The list meets my humble approval, even as non-ForbesWoman. However, I can’t honestly say that I’ve read or agree to all the books on the list, so here’s my shortened version of their list.

8 Great Summer Reading Books
1. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
2. Crush It! by Gary Vaynerchuk
3. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
4. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
5. How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
6. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
7. Linchpin by Seth Godin
8. The Passage by Justin Cronin

Enjoy!

  1. Hey! Great shortlist. I’ve read 4&5 but want to read 2&7. In fact, all the titles on this list are very appealing. Another recommendation would be Tribe by Seth Godin, you may have heard of it? Well worth the read.

    • Thanks! 2 & 7 were very good and you were right about Tribes. Seth Godin is a genius. Linchpin left me in deep thought for quite some time.
